Some truly exciting news for our 2025-2026 Vision!
It is hard not to put many many exclamation marks in this newsletter, as there are such exciting things moving forward!! Let’s start with the blessings of our most recent trip from the United States in February. The MHI team from the United States spent two weeks visiting and ministering to children in three orphanages and two public schools. We were oh, so warmly welcomed by the children and staff, and it was thrilling for our returning and our first time team members to truly feel we accomplished what Father sent us to do!
Wherever we went, the children’s joy and resilience shone on us. Despite their circumstances, we felt such love in their hearts for us and each other. Our team brought various sports events, reading time with Carmen “Grandma” Patches’ book Big Hoorays God’s Creation Days, arts and crafts like making long paper chains with Charity Yoder, and dancing their favorite dances with the children. They love to sing and dance! We brought smiles to the children’s faces and all of the team created lasting memories with them.
During our visit to MHI Hope Children’s Home, we considered the future plans for the growing children. As Yahweh continues to move in the MHI ministry, he plants seeds in our hearts for growth we honestly never thought possible. But with Yahweh all things are possible and His vision for the ministry is seen in the provisions he bestows when we take our next steps of faith and trust.
With that, we are excited to announce that Yahweh has given us a vision for a Vocational School for the advancing students, essential to providing them with the right education as they prepare to go out into their communities and into the world in service to Yahweh. This is most definitely a significant project. We trust you will join us in prayer toward this goal!! We know He will provide!!
How does this vision look?
A vocational school built nearby the Hope Children’s Home, along with lodging facilities for our staff and volunteers, will offer both our local Kenyan and our US volunteers more direct contact with the students, allowing more hours to be spent directly with the children instead of spent traveling for 3-5 hours, each way, twice a week. This base would be a short 20 minute drive to the school and offer space for teams to lodge. It’s hard to express how exciting this change would be, how beneficial to the staff and students, and how valuable the vocational classes will be in transforming lives for the families and for Yahweh’s kingdom purposes. The plan for the vision includes the necessary land purchase, building the Vocational School, storage spaces, a lodge for staff and volunteers, and a perimeter wall for safety. Sounds like a big dream, yes?
What has Yahweh done already to move this vision forward? More exclamation marks!
- First, MHI is now registered in Kenya as an NGO (non-Government organization). This is the necessary first step and is already accomplished. Halleluyah!
- Second, we have acquired land! Messianic Assembly of Yahweh has agreed to sell us 3/4 acre of prime land with a clear title deed. Halleluyah, Father shows himself faithful!
- AND third, Father has shown great favor to us in another immense way. A generous benefactor with a heart and vision for MHI and this vocational and lodging project, has blessed us with nearly half of our projected total cost of $329,000. We are in awe! Halleluyah!
Where can YOU help?
Join us in this noble cause, and help us to see the reality of this vision. In the generosity you already show to Messianic Hope International, we are asking for your prayers for goals to be reached. Many are contributing to our monthly expenses as it is, and now we have a new project we ask you to consider helping us to fund, and to spread the word to others who may look for a place to invest in Yahweh’s Kingdom. Bear in mind, all contributions are tax deductible and all contributions are 100% given to this ministry. We do not have extra overhead that takes a portion. What a great way to walk with us, together, for the noble cause of our children and ministries to them.
Share our vision, be part of the work Yahweh is doing in us to enable us to bring about His work in the children we serve and love.
Be blessed! We certainly are!
Most sincerely,
MHI Admin Team
