“This July, I was able to join my Kenya team, lead by Bishop Peter Kihara to expanded our ministry to a new school. We are humbled by the opportunity Yahweh has bestowed on us and how He is using MHI to minister to the children in different walks of lives.
We are still using music lessons as our platform to bring the gospel to mentor the junior-high and high school boys and girls, and are committed to providing girls with hygiene products each month. This has also opened a door for us to mentor the girls on a one-on-one basis.
With all these opportunities, there are weekly and monthly expenses we need to meet and we are so grateful for every person assisting us and making the load lighter (and impact greater!)
Other schools are aware of our work and have reached out to us to get involved, and while this is great news, at this point we are holding back until we can address the needs for additional manpower and expenditures. We trust that Yahweh will provide as he opens a new door for us!
The children in the orphanage homes are doing great. They always melt our hearts with songs and the endless joy they portray. They challenge me to look within and ask myself (where does my joy come from?)
May Yahweh continue to bless you and your family.”
